Greek Salad
This is my all time favourite. Never miss this, if you happen to visit Greece. But why wait when you can make it by yourself?
Ingredients:
- 1 head chopped lettuce (I used Oak-leaf Green Lettuce)
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 5-6 cherry tomatoes, cut into half (you can use large tomato too - cube shaped cut)
- 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1green capsicum
- 10-9 green olives (pitted)
- 1 cucumber, deseed and chopped
Dressing:
- 4 tablespoon of olive oil
- black pepper powder
- 3 teaspoon of lemon juice or vinegar
- 1 teaspoon of oregano
Method:
- In a large bowl, combine lettuce, onion, tomatoes, feta cheese, bell pepper, capsicum, olives and cucumber.
- Whisk together the olive oil, black pepper powder, lemon juice and oregano. Pour dressing over salad, toss and serve.
